I recently finished I Take You by Eliza Kennedy as recommended by one of my agents from Browne & Miller, Joanna Mackenzie.

Hard to believe this is Eliza's debut novel! It read so easy-breezy, it felt like the fourth or twentieth of her career.

That's not to say I didn't like it. I did, a lot. It was a quick, light and airy read with a healthy dose of sass and smarts.

Question for other readers - did you like the main character? I felt like I shouldn't but I couldn't help loving her...
